Educational Qualification of RCI Consultant Recruitment 2020
Controller of Examination, Dy. Controller of Examination: Applicant should be post-graduate in any discipline from a recognized University and 3 years of Experience as Deputy Controller of Examination/5 years of Experience as Controller of Examination in Administration.
Consultant (Education), Programme Officer, Assistant Programme Officer: Applicant should be post-graduate in Rehabilitation Science/ Social Science/ Psychology/ Applied Psychology/ MBA from a recognized University and 5 years of experience in Special Education /relevant Field.
Consultant (Administration): Applicant should be post-graduate in any discipline with a good academic record from a recognized University and 10 years of Experience in Administration organizations in the Govt of India.
Consultant (legal): Applicant should holds LLB from a recognized university and must be registered with the bar council of India and 5 years of experience as a Legal Practitioner in any court.
Section Officer, Assistant: Applicant Should be graduated in any discipline with a good academic record from a recognized University and 3 years of Experience in Administration organizations in the Govt of India.
Stenographer: Applicant should be graduated in any discipline with a good academic record from a recognized University and 3 years of experience in a relevant field and must have a Shorthand typing speed of 100 w.p.m in English/80 w.p.m in Hindi.
Age Limit
- The upper age limit of the Controller of Examination Should have 55 years as on the Recruitment time.
- For the Dy. Controller of Examination, Consultant (Education), Consultant (Administration) age limit should not exceed 50 years.
- For the post of Consultant (legal), Section Officer, Assistant Programme Officer their upper age limit should not exceed 35 years
- Programme Officer must not exceed 40 years of age at the time of Recruitment of RCI.
- The upper age limit of the Stenographer, Assistant should not have 30 years of age at the time of Recruitment.

About Rehabilitation Council of India – RCI
The Rehabilitation Council of India(RCI) was set up as a registered society in 1986. In September 1992 the RCI Act was enacted by Parliament and it became a Statutory Body on 22 June 1993. The mandate given to RCI is to regulate and monitor services given to persons with a disability, to standardize syllabi, and to maintain a Central Rehabilitation Register of all qualified professionals and personnel working in the field of Rehabilitation and Special Education.
