NTA NEET Result 2020: NTA To declare results by middle of October

NTA officials announced that the NEET result 2020 exam will be available on the official website-ntaneet.nic.in 2020, on or before October 12. In order to verify NEET result 2020, candidates should enter roll number, date of birth, and security pin.

On September 13, NTA (National Testing Agency) conducted NEET 2020 exams in pen and paper-based mode. NEET 2020 test was conducted at 3843 exam centers nationwide. The result will be announced as a scorecard. NEET scorecard will also include the NEET percentile score, All India Rank (AIR), total marks, category rank among others.

The NEET 2020 result would be a pathway to 80,005 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, and 525 BVSc and AH in Indian medical and dental colleges respectively.

2020 NEET-UG results: How to download: step – by – step instructions

Step 1: Go to NTA NEET’s website- ntaneet.nic.in

Step 2: Select ‘View NEET-UG 2020 Result’

Step 3: The NEET login page is on the screen. Enter credentials including roll number, birth date, security pin.

Step 4: You should click on Submit. Then the NEET rank card 2020 will be shown on the screen.

Step 5: Download the result of NEET exam 2020.

Step 6: Print the results from NEET.

NEET 2020 Tie Breaker Criteria

For two or more candidates receiving the same marks in the entrance exam, their merit is then calculated in this case by using the following methods given below:

  • In the NEET 2020 result, candidates who scoring higher in biology will be preferred.
  • If the criteria for the ‘Biology marks’ fail, candidates with higher Chemistry marks will be selected.
  • If the above two strategies are followed and the tie remains, then candidates with less incorrect answers in NEET 2020 will earn a higher merit order.
  • If any of the above parameters fail, an applicant older than others will be considered.

The best thing is to download and save a soft copy of the NEET 2020 score. You can use it anytime in this way. After admission is over, a download link is usually open, but it is advisable to be a safer side and not risk it.
