Eligibility Criteria for FRI Technical Assistant Recruitment
Educational Qualification
- Library Information Assistant: The candidate should have Graduated in Library Science from recognized University.
- Technical Assistant (Field/Lab Research):The candidate should have Graduate in Botany/Zoology/ Forestry / Environment / Ecology /Bio Technology/ Genetics/Micro-Biology /Geology/ Bio-Chemistry OR Aspirant must have graduate in Physics/Applied-Physics/ Material Science/ Instrumentation/ Chemistry/Mathematics/Statistics/Bio-informatics/ Geo-informatics from recognized University.
- Technical Assistant (Maintenance): The candidate should have Graduate in Computer Science/ Information Technology OR 3 years diploma in Engineering in Computer Science/ Information Technology from a recognized University.
- Steno Grade-II: Aspirant should have an Intermediate certificate from a recognized Board and min speed of 80 wpm in Stenography in English/Hindi.
- Multi-Tasking Staff: Aspirant should have passed 10th standard with 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
Age Limit for Technical Assistant Recruitment in FRI
The upper age limit of the candidates for the post of Library Information Assistant/Steno Grade-II/Multi-Tasking Staff will below the 18 years not more than 27 years.
The upper age limit of the candidates for the post of Technical Assistant (Field/Lab Research)/Technical Assistant (Maintenance) will below the 21 years not more than 30 years.
The age relaxation for the SC/ST candidates is 5 years.
The age relaxation for the OBC candidates is 3 years.
The age relaxation for the PWD with a minimum of 40% disability candidates is 10 years.
