Educational Qualification for Kolkata Coast Guard Jobs
MT driver: candidate must be passed in 10th class and Must have a valid license for both heavy and light-duty motor vehicles. The applicant must have at least 02 years of experience in motor-vehicles.
Forklift operator: The Aspirant must have a Certificate in ITI or other recognized institution with a minimum of one year of experience. and the candidate must be passed in 10th class and knowing the English language.
Carpenter: Candidate Should have completed apprenticeship in carpenter at the Industrial Training Institute or other recognized institutes or should have 03 years of commercial experience.
MTS(Peon): The candidate must be passed in 10th class.
MTS (chowkidar): The Aspirant should be passed in Matriculation or equivalent, and two years of Chowkidar experience in any recognized organization.
Lascar: The Aspirant should be passed in Matriculation and three years of boat service experience.
Age Limit for Coast Guard Jobs in Kolkata
- The age limit for MT driver, Forklift operator, MTS(Peon), MTS (chowkidar) is 18-27 years.
- The age limit for Carpenter, Lascar is 18-30 years.
- The age relaxation will be applicable as per govt.rules.

- The candidates who are selected for the post of MT driver, Forklift operator, Carpenter, will get a monthly salary of RS.19,900/-
